MP: previous Belarusian People’s Congress resulted in nation’s strong consolidation around President
The 7th Belarusian People’s Congress is scheduled for December 18th-19th, and deputies are already preparing for it
Vitaly Utkin, the Deputy Chairman of the Standing Committee of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly on Industry, Fuel and Energy Complex, Transport and Communications, recalled that the Belarusian People’s Congress was held in a new constitutional status in April 2024, “Therefore, as a delegate of the Belarusian People’s Congress, it was very important for me to emphasise to my voters its historical importance in the development of our state, sovereign Belarus, on the world stage. The key task for me was to convey the key legal mechanisms of the decisions of the Belarusian People’s Congress aimed at developing the economic, political and territorial security of our country amid the emerging information chaos of lies created by shill Western media and fugitives. At meetings in labour collectives, I explained the mechanisms of new socio-economic initiatives and programmes that were discussed at the congress.”
As noted by Mr. Utkin, it was necessary to take into account the novelty and open nature of the Belarusian People’s Congress and its decisions. Indeed, at that time, the oppositional Western European media were very active in their information field, trying to form false views about the landmark political event in Belarus.
“Being aware of my responsibility as a delegate, I had to respond more sharply and explain that, during the Belarusian People’s Congress, the Belarusian people are constructing their future safe life. The world community should listen to the voice of the people, who are resisting the sophisticated utopia of prepaid European politicians and the media. I can say with confidence that a strong consolidation of our people around President Aleksandr Lukashenko became the main result of the previous Belarusian People’s Congress,” the MP noted. “The citizens of Belarus demonstrated to the whole world their perception of the meaning and purpose of our country's development in the new architecture of the world order.”
Mr. Utkin added that it’s a fundamental opportunity for a truly global feedback between a citizen and a state, which draw on their own experience. “In the context of the current conflicts on the planet, I believe, we can talk about the patterns of formation and development of our state, taking into account the integration role of Belarus in the new global economic and political platforms,” he stressed.
