MP: Belarus attaches great importance to development of Belarusian-Algerian relations
The Belarusian party of the Belarusian-Algerian intergovernmental joint commission on trade, economic, scientific and technical co-operation has held a meeting via video conference
Ruslan Kosygin, a deputy of the House of Representatives who heads the working group of the National Assembly of Belarus on co-operation with Algeria’s Parliament, was among the meeting participants who discussed the current state of the Belarusian-Algerian trade and economic relations and promising sectors for the development of bilateral co-operation.
Speaking about the co-operation with the Algerian People's Democratic Republic, Mr. Kosygin noted that Belarus attaches great importance to the development of Belarusian-Algerian relations, including at the parliamentary level, “Currently, work is underway to organise a visit to the Republic of Belarus by Algerian parliamentarians, its specific dates will be agreed through diplomatic channels. The House of Representatives is ready to work on the development of bilateral co-operation and the promotion of Belarus’ trade and economic interests in all areas.”
