Molostov: Belarusian border authorities ready for full-scale operations at all checkpoints

The Belarusian border authorities are fully ready to carry out continuous processing of people and vehicles at all border checkpoints — as noted by Konstantin Molostov, the Chairman of the State Border Committee of Belarus, after his report to President Aleksandr Lukashenko on November 12th

“At present, border guards, working together with customs and police, are enforcing the Head of State’s directive to halt the transit of Lithuanian freight trucks across the border, arranging parking for these vehicles in designated areas and permitting drivers to either return home or stay there. The Belarusian border authorities are fully ready to carry out continuous processing of people and vehicles at all border checkpoints. Furthermore, we are ready to respond to any changes in the situation at the state border in order to fulfil the tasks set by the President of Belarus,” Mr. Molostov pointed out.
