Minsk TV Week launched in Chongqing, China

Chongqing hosted the presentation of the History of Belarus-China Relations exhibition celebrating the 30th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries – as informed by Belarus’ Embassy in China

"More than 30 unique photos from the Belarusian and Chinese foreign ministries’ archives feature the most significant events in the history of strengthening and expanding co-operation between the states. The exhibition is organised on an observation deck of Chongqing’s World Financial Centre – the tallest building in the city. It is open for everyone and will last until January 30th,” the Belarusian diplomatic mission said.

In addition, in co-operation with the Minsk Regional Executive Committee and the Minsk Capital (CTV) TV channel, with support of Belarus’ Information Ministry, the Minsk TV Week was launched on the national Chongqing TV channel and the Chongqing International satellite channel. As informed by the Belarusian Embassy, from January 24th-28th, five episodes of the Belarusian tourist show – I Want to See It – will be broadcast in Chinese for the combined audience of over 1bn people.

The Chongqing TV Week is scheduled to be held in Belarus until late 2022.
