Minsk Tractor Works signed $11m contracts with Tajik companies

The documents were signed by Vitaly Vovk, the Minsk Tractor Works’ General Director, and heads of Madadi Tursunzoda and Agrotechservice organisations as part of the Tajik-Belarusian business forum, the Belarusian plant’s Telegram channel reports

Based on the contracts, Madadi Tursunzoda will receive 170 BELARUS tractors worth about $4m. In turn, a trade agreement was signed with Agrotechservice for the supply of 320 tractors worth more than $7m.

From January-September 2021, about 370 BELARUS tractors were delivered to Tajikistan, or 46.2 percent more than in the same period last year.

In November 2017, a manufacturing facility to assemble BELARUS tractors opened in the city of Hissar, and contracts for production of seven models were concluded.
