Minsk Tractor Works establishing co-operation with Ghana

Minsk Tractor Works is interested in expanding co-operation with the Republic of Ghana, and the Belarusian company’s representative is now on a visit to this country, BelarusTractors_official Telegram channel reports

“MTZ Deputy Marketing Director Vladimir Petukhov is on a working visit to the African country as part of a delegation of Belarusian machine-building enterprises," the source said. “During negotiations with the Minister of Agriculture of Ghana, the parties agreed to develop a programme for the agricultural sector mechanisation.”

Ghana (officially the Republic of Ghana) is a country in West Africa with the population of 33 million people. It borders Togo in the east, Burkina Faso in the north, Côte d'Ivoire in the west, and the Gulf of Guinea of the Atlantic Ocean in the south. Ghana was a colony of the British Empire, but it gained independence in 1957. Agriculture is the country’s main economic sector. Cocoa beans, rice, tapioca, peanuts, corn, and bananas are mostly grown here.
