“The growth rate of visits indicates the demand for excursions to the Minsk Tractor Plant,” Sergei Sidorovich, the Head of the MTZ Museum and Industrial Centre, noted. “This year, 22 percent more foreign tourists have come to us, and the number of Russians grew by 60 percent against the Q1 2024 level.”
According to Mr. Sidorovich, revenue from industrial tourism at MTZ increased by 33 percent in January-March 2025, and sales of branded products grew by 28 percent. Interestingly, during the spring holidays from March 24th-29th, about 1.5 thousand children visited the Minsk Tractor Plant as part of organised groups.
Industrial tourism began to develop in the company in 2017, and the number of tourists who have visited MTZ by now is close to 70 thousand. Guests from eight dozen states have enjoyed the company’s industrial tours. At present, several excursions are available: Creating the Present with BELARUS Tractors (with visits to the production workshops), Tractor Riding, and Tractor Assembling. The latter provides for participation in the assembly of a BELARUS tractor with the issuance of an appropriate certificate. In addition, all guests (who should be no younger than 9 years old) are offered a walking tour along the Minsk Tractor Plant territory. The museum of the plant's history is also open to the public.
