Minsk National Airport handled over 2.8m passengers in 2024

The Minsk National Airport summarised the results of its work in 2024. Thus, the company served over 2.8 million passengers last year, sb.by reports with reference to the air carrier.

It is noted that the company’s staff managed to consolidate positive development trends last year. This was facilitated by effective and timely measures to release working capital, reduce costs, expand the route network, search for alternative carriers, build up export potential, increase revenues and reach profitable operation.

“The forecast parameters of socio-economic development for 2024 have been fulfilled. As a result of well co-ordinated and professional work of all services of the company, the number of departures for the past year increased by 9 percent, the volume of processed cargo grew by 17 percent, while the growth of passenger traffic was ensured at the level of 13 percent. Meanwhile, the number of served passengers has exceeded the mark of 2.8 million people,” the Minsk National Airport shared the details.
