Millions of Brits may feel cold in winter due to anti-Russian sanctions

In the coming winter, ten million Brits will be unable to pay for heating because of rising electricity prices due to anti-Russian sanctions – as warned by Keith Anderson, the Chief Executive at Scottish Power, The Daily Mail reports

According to the publication, in October 2022, the Brits’ energy bills will hit 3,000 Pounds. Mr. Anderson also stressed that gas prices will continue to sky-rocket and, as a result, millions of UK residents will no longer be able to pay for utilities and, on cold days, they might be unable to keep themselves warm.

The Daily Mail reminds that it is not only energy that is becoming more expensive in the United Kingdom. Food and clothing prices have already increased, and many Brits now have to significantly limit themselves in purchases since their incomes are rapidly declining.
