Military expert: US gradually withdrawing from the conflict, trying to shift the costs to Europe

The United States will eventually start phasing out military aid to Ukraine, and the main costs of supporting Kiev will fall on Europe – as noted by military expert Aleksei Leonkov in his talk with the First TV channel

As Aleksei Leonkov noted, analysts and experts have long come to the conclusion that prolonging the conflict and supplying weapons is a direct path to WWIII with the use of nuclear weapons.

“The administration of [US President Joe] Biden must prevent this from happening. At the same time, the issue of Ukraine’s territorial integrity is not the main one for them. America needs to get out of this conflict in order to prevent WWIII. At the same time, as experts and analysts advise, it should shift all military spending to Europe, which we are now observing. America is gradually withdrawing from participation in the conflict while Germany takes over all military expenses,” the expert added.

However, according to him, Europe will not be able to produce the required amount of military equipment and will take it from warehouses, thereby freeing up space for American weapons.

The speaker also added that NATO is unable to provide Ukraine with the amount of weapons it needs.

“There are human resources in Ukraine, and mercenaries can still be sent there. But the question of lack of weapons remains open. The easiest way is to take it from the warehouses, but when the equipment will decrease in large quantities from the warehouses, I think this assisatnce will stop,” the expert shared his opinion.

Aleksei Leonkov predicted when support for Ukraine might end, “If they now try to maintain the level of supplies of military equipment that was observed at the time of the start of the special operation and before it, what is left in Europe will only be enough for this year. Maybe the opportunities will run out even by September of this year.”
