Milei ordered withdrawal of Argentina from WHO

Argentine President Javier Milei has ordered the country's withdrawal from the World Health Organisation, TASS reports

Presidential spokesman Manuel Adorni said at a press conference, “President Milei instructed (Foreign Minister) Gerardo Werthein to withdraw Argentina’s participation in the World Health Organisation."

Among the reasons, he cited ‘deep differences’ on health policy during the COVID-19 pandemic.
