Mercenaries’ participation in Ukraine to make hostilities more severe

Involvement of mercenaries will make hostilities in Ukraine more severe and contribute to an increase in human losses on both sides and – which is extremely unacceptable – among civilians, military expert Andrei Chenrobai asserts

“Mercenaries are well aware that no one will treat them as official prisoners, so they should not be captured by the enemy. For this reason, they are excessively cruel towards civilians – among others. In a war, they have no concept of Motherland and their people, compassion for the elderly, women, children, etc. Mercenaries create a new round of bitterness, new bloodshed and new losses, including among civilians,” a military analyst of the Belarusian Institute for Strategic Studies, Andrei Chernobai, explains.
