Media: Japan, China, S. Korea to hold trilateral summit in late May

The Japanese Yomiuri Shimbun newspaper stated that Japan, China, and South Korea plan to hold a trilateral meeting of leadership representatives at the end of May, TASS reports


It is noted that the parties are now considering the option of holding talks in South Korea on May 26th-27th. The meeting is expected to be attended by Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida, Chinese Premier Li Qiang, and South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol.

According to the newspaper, the parties may discuss regional issues, including the DPRK, and economic co-operation at the summit.
