MAZ ready to work at accelerated pace to ensure timely delivery of its machinery to Russia’s Krasnoyarsk Krai

Prospects of co-operation between Russia’s Krasnoyarsk Krai and Minsk Automobile Plant (MAZ) have been discussed at a meeting between the Belarusian enterprise’s leadership and a delegation from the Russian region, the MAZ media centre reports

“A delegation from the Krasnoyarsk Krai visited MAZ on May 19th and included Chairman of the Government of the Krasnoyarsk Krai Sergei Vereshchagin and First Deputy Governor Sergei Ponomarenko,” the company’s media centre informed.

The Belarusian company noted that the Krasnoyarsk Krai is a very promising buyer, “A gradual renewal of 85 percent of the passenger fleet is planned in the region. This is more than 1,000 units of equipment and about 150 buses per year. The guests also expressed interest in MAZ municipal vehicles for cleaning municipal solid waste and combined road vehicles for keeping the streets clean.”

As MAZ Director General Valery Ivankovich noted, the Belarusian enterprise has extensive experience in delivering large-scale projects and is prepared to work at an accelerated pace to ensure the timely delivery of machinery and the provision of high-level service support.

Minsk Automobile Plant is the flagship of Belarus’ automotive industry, specialising in the production of cargo, passenger, trailer and special equipment. The company manufactures about 500 models and modifications of on-board and all-wheel drive vehicles, dump trucks, chassis, tractors, timber trucks, trailers and semi-trailers, cranes, special equipment, alongside about 15 models of buses, trolleybuses, and electric buses.
