Macron, Putin discussed the situation on Belarusian-Polish border by phone
The President of France, Emmanuel Macron, and the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, have had a telephone conversation to discuss the crisis on the Polish-Belarusian border – as a source at the Elysee Palace said. The leaders agreed on the need to de-escalate the migrant crisis, RIA Novosti reports.
As the website of the President of Russia informs, the sides discussed the current situation on the Belarus-EU border. The President of Russia emphasised, in particular, the extremely cruel treatment of refugees by Polish border guards.
