Macron promised to supply AMX-10 RC wheeled tanks to Ukraine

French President Emmanuel Macron has promised his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelenskyy that Paris would supply Kiev with AMX-10 RC wheeled tanks, Reuters reports

"The President has decided to expand the military assistance that is already being provided to Kiev by agreeing to supply AMX-10 RC light tanks," journalists were told at a briefing following a recent telephone conversation between Macron and Zelenskyy.

The Elysee Palace source said that was the first case of delivery of tanks developed in the West to Kiev, though he failed to specify how many wheeled tanks will be sent, and when.
