Lukashenko congratulated Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic on Statehood Day
President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko has congratulated President of Serbia Alexandar Vucic on the occasion of widely celebrated Statehood Day, which confirms the historical choice of the Serbian people and is an essential element of the consolidation of society, sb.by reports with reference to the Belarusian leader’s press service
"In the current difficult conditions, Minsk remains firmly committed to developing friendly relations with Belgrade in many sectors," the Head of State stressed.
The two countries give priority attention to trade and investment projects, humanitarian co-operation, and the continuity of traditional values, including the importance of family, youth education, and respect for the heroic pages of the past.
"We have something to be proud of and something to strive for together. You can always count on Belarus' support in matters of Serbia's sovereignty and territorial integrity," the Belarusian leader emphasised.
Aleksandr Lukashenko wished Alexandar Vucic and all Serbian people health, peace, civil harmony and further success in building a strong independent state open to the world and all people of good will.
"I will be glad to welcome you and your colleagues to the hospitable Belarusian land to discuss topical issues on the bilateral agenda and international issues," the President noted.
