Lukashenko: young people are major tool of ‘colour revolutions’
During today’s meeting with the heads of the CIS electoral authorities, President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko revealed who is the main street tool of the ‘colour revolutions’. The President drew attention to such an urgent issue as improving legal literacy and political culture of the population, especially young people.
“We need to explain, to tell our people how we will live after the elections. It’s not a secret that young people are the main street tool of the ‘colour revolutions’. Therefore, we pay special attention to our youngsters. We need to look for common ground with young voters. If you have such experience – and I am sure that you do – you will share your best practices and knowledge during your visit to Belarus,” Aleksandr Lukashenko noted.
The Head of State is confident that the interaction of the CIS central electoral authorities will enable us to successfully solve the most serious tasks, “I would like us to continue to maintain such business co-operation that has developed between the central election commissions. It’s worth a lot, we can’t lose it in any case.”
