Lukashenko, Xi Jinping met in Beijing

Beijing hosts a meeting of Belarus’ President Aleksandr Lukashenko and Chinese President Xi Jinping as part of the Belarusian leader's state visit to China, BelTA reports

Upon the President’s arrival to the northern entrance to the Great Hall of the People, ceremonial fanfare sounded. Xi Jinping welcomed Aleksandr Lukashenko and, after a protocol photo session, the state leaders introduced the members of their official delegations to each other.

The ceremony continued by performance of the hymns and a solemn marching of the honour guard company.

At the end of the solemn meeting, the heads of state went to official negotiations with participation of the members of their delegations.
