Lukashenko: withdrawal of Western rivals from Union State market opens up new opportunities
During his meeting with the Governor of the Leningrad Region, Alexander Drozdenko, the President of Belarus outlined a number of promising areas for mutually beneficial co-operation
“The withdrawal of Western companies from our common market gives us additional opportunities across all areas,” said the Head of State. “We are ready to actively engage in work in such capacious sectors of the economy as housing, industrial, road and infrastructure construction, which you have identified as drivers for the region’s economic growth.”
Aleksandr Lukashenko underlined, “We can not only supply road and construction equipment but also implement the relevant projects in these areas. There is a good example of interaction when the region supported Belarus and chose our manufacturers as contractors for the construction of modular water purification and water treatment plants. We are very interested in these projects. If you are pleased with our work, we will continue with great pleasure.”
