Lukashenko visiting construction site of mining and processing complex in Lyuban District
President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko is making a working trip today to the Minsk Region. The Head of State will get acquainted with how the construction of a mining and processing complex in the Lyuban District is progressing.
The design capacity of the mining and processing complex specialising in the production of potassium chloride in the Lyuban District of the Minsk Region is up to 2 million tonnes of potassium chloride per year. The implementation of the investment project is aimed at creating a modern high-tech enterprise for the extraction and processing of mineral fertilisers, capable of strengthening Belarus' position in the potash fertiliser market.
The project envisages the construction of a full production cycle – including a mine complex, a processing plant, engineering infrastructure and auxiliary facilities. To date, the installation of the technological equipment of the first line of the processing plant has been almost completed. At the same time, the company is mining potash ore, which is delivered through the crushing plant to the warehouse for further processing.
