Aleksandr Lukashenko will lay flowers at The Unconquered Man monument and – as part of the nationwide subbotnik – will plant fruit trees and bushes near symbolic wooden frames of houses. The Head of State will also take part in the laying of a historical memory park; 149 trees will be planted there – symbolising the number of killed villagers. In addition, with the President’s participation, a corresponding memorial plaque will be installed on a stone, on the site of the new park.

As the Pul Pervogo Telegram channel recalls, during his State of the Nation Address, Aleksandr Lukashenko supported an initiative of the Belarusian Republican Youth Union to declare the construction of a new museum on the territory of the Khatyn Memorial Complex an all-Belarusian youth construction site.
