Lukashenko to visit BelOMO in Minsk
The President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, will get acquainted with the work of the Minsk Mechanical Plant named after S.I. Vavilov – Managing Company of BelOMO Holding, BelTA reports
The Head of State will be informed about the financial and economic state of the holding, as well as the developments and prospects for the development of production.
The Belarusian Optical and Mechanical Association (since 2011 – the BelOMO Holding) is a recognised leader in optoelectronic instrumentation. The history of the BelOMO Holding begins in 1957 with the founding of the Minsk Mechanical Plant named after S.I. Vavilov.
At present, it is a universal diversified association specialising in the development, design and production of laser, optoelectronic and optomechanical devices and systems. Along with the products of the optical profile, the company produces components for heavy-duty vehicles brake systems, household gas meters (including those with a temperature compensator, pulse output, ultrasonic, with a wireless data transmission channel), IR emitters (heaters) for general and local space heating, consumer goods (electric dryers, electric juicers, electric juicers-shredders) and much more.
The production capacities of the enterprise enable it to successfully manufacture competitive products for both domestic and foreign markets. BelOMO Holding’s innovative goods are exported to more than 30 countries.
