Lukashenko to Supreme Commander of Libyan National Army Haftar: we will fulfil everything we agree upon on time
President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko has met today with Field Marshal and Supreme Commander of the Libyan National Army Khalifa Belqasim Haftar, who arrived in Belarus on a visit on the evening of February 17th, at the Palace of Independence

Welcoming the guest, Aleksandr Lukashenko said, “Please consider that you have come to your friends, to your home. I have read a lot about you, heard a lot, and been told a lot – but, unfortunately, this is the first time I am welcoming you. I want you to know that we are very well aware of the situation in Libya. We know Libya very well. I have a special attitude towards your people. I visited Libya in the past. Of course, it is a different Libya today, but you should know that we are ready to do anything for you that you see useful in Belarus. Everything that we agree upon today, during your stay in Belarus, will be fulfilled by us on time. Therefore, let me welcome you and all the accompanying members of the delegation to Belarus. We are ready to work.”
