Lukashenko on the results of co-ordinating the regional group of forces: this experience is important for Belarus
During his visit to the 230th combined arms training ground Obuz-Lesnovsky, the President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, talked with soldiers and commanders of units and formations of the Russian part of the regional group of forces
“I think you will tell me more than I can tell you today,” Aleksandr Lukashenko said. “It is very important for me, and not only for me. This difficult experience is very important for Belarus. I will listen very carefully and use this in the preparation of our Armed Forces of Belarus and Russia to protect our common Fatherland. Most importantly, we have agreed with your heads and divisional commanders that you would say about the shortcomings. Because we will have to continue to work in the same mode. We will have to prepare both Belarusians and Russians.”
The President also responded to the words of gratitude from the Russian side for the assistance provided, “We didn’t only help you, we helped ourselves. We get a lot of information from you. This is experience. Well, our officers help prepare those who have never been in combat and those who need to remember military skills. This is also a school for them.”
