Lukashenko to pay a working visit to Russia on December 28th-29th
The President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, will pay a working visit to the Russian Federation on December 28th-29th – as reported by the press service of the Belarusian leader
On December 28th, the President of Belarus will take part in an informal meeting of the CIS heads of state in St. Petersburg. The leaders will sum up the results of Belarus' presidency in the Commonwealth in 2021, exchange views on solving common pressing problems, and discuss further measures to enhance effectiveness of co-operation and socio-economic development of the CIS member states. The upcoming meeting is significant also because the Commonwealth of Independent States is celebrating its 30th anniversary in December.
On December 29th, Aleksandr Lukashenko is scheduled to meet with the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin. The heads of state will discuss topical issues of Belarusian-Russian co-operation.
