The Head of State recalled that the tactical plan for the development of the agro-industrial complex was developed back in 2019. At that time, the most important documents were adopted in the areas of development (strategies for the development of the dairy and meat industries, the Rural Development Directive, the Agricultural Business Programme, a set of measures for the development of feed production).

Aleksandr Lukashenko noted that everything was taken into account in this plan, and drew attention to the goals set, “You promised me then to increase the production (raising) of livestock and poultry by 2025 to 2 million tonnes, to raise milk production to 9.2 million tonnes, to increase the productivity of the dairy herd (at least 6,500kg per cow), to ensure the workload of processing enterprises, to qualitatively improve the food supply, to improve livestock management, and to improve breeding work. More than three and a half years have passed, let’s see what the result is.”
