During the conversation, Aleksandr Lukashenko stressed that subordinate enterprises, as well as all subjects of the industry are in the area of responsibility of this structure, “Let’s discuss whether light industry is as easy as it sometimes seems to us. How are enterprises operating during this difficult sanctions period? Although we agreed that we forgot that there are some difficulties and troubles. They are surmountable, but the most important thing is not how the enterprises that are part of the light industry concern work, but how the light industry operates as a whole, for which the Government and the Light Industry Minister are responsible.”

The Head of State reminded the Chairperson of Bellegprom of his fundamental requirement, “I regularly and constantly warned you, Tatiana Alekseevna [Lugina, the Chairperson of the Bellegprom Concern] and all members of the Government, about this. We do not have enterprises, as we often call them, without departmental subordination. Everything is in your structure, because they are in the country. Without undue pressure, of course. It is up to you how you will manage them, but, nevertheless, what kind of contacts do you have with private, non-state enterprises, with enterprises that are not part of your concern? How do they work?”
