Lukashenko talked with Tokayev over phone, congratulating him on winning Presidential elections

The President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, has had a telephone conversation with the President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, today – as informed by BelTA with reference to the Belarusian leader’s press service

The Head of State congratulated his Kazakh counterpart on his victory in the Presidential elections. Aleksandr Lukashenko and Kassym-Jomart Tokayev discussed prospects for the development of bilateral co-operation in the future.

The President of Kazakhstan gratefully accepted the congratulations. He also thanked the Belarusian observers for their constructive, open and honest work and assessment of the elections.
