Lukashenko: system of Belarusian athletes’ training enables them to celebrate bright victories

President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko has congratulated employees and veterans of the Sports and Tourism Ministry on the 30th anniversary of its establishment, sb.by reports with reference to the Belarusian leader’s press service

"Strengthening our people’s health, as well as developing high-performance sports and the mass physical education movement, are priority areas of the state policy, the implementation of which is the ministry’s primary task," the message of greetings reads.

The Head of State noted that the established system of athletes' training enables Belarusian sportsmen to celebrate outstanding victories at major international tournaments and Olympiads. "These achievements are the pride of the nation and evidence of the strength of the spirit of Belarusians," the President stressed.

Aleksandr Lukashenko addressed special words of gratitude to the veterans: all those who worked and continue working tirelessly for the glory of Belarusian sports, preserving and enhancing its winning traditions.

The Head of State wished the employees and veterans of the Sports and Tourism Ministry health, peace and new achievements for the prosperity of the Motherland.
