Lukashenko stressed the importance of Belarus-Turkey mutual support
The President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, has sent greetings to the President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, as the two countries celebrate the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations – as BelTA was reported in the Belarusian leader’s press service
“Thanks to the firm political will, our countries have approached this date with serious results of co-operation across all areas, primarily in trade-economic and investment sectors,” reads the congratulatory message.
The Head of State drew attention to the fact that in modern conditions the importance of maintaining mutual support and equal partnership between Minsk and Ankara can hardly be overestimated, including for the sovereignty of the two countries.
“I am convinced that the significant potential and interest of both sides will determine the further successful development of mutually beneficial Belarusian-Turkish relations,” underlined the President.
Aleksandr Lukashenko wished Recep Tayyip Erdogan strong health and fruitful state activity, and peace and solidarity to the friendly people of Turkey.
