Lukashenko: situation with illegal drug trafficking is alarming
The problem of drug trafficking was discussed at today’s expanded meeting on law and order issues headed by the President
Aleksandr Lukashenko stressed that the situation with drug trafficking is alarming, “A tendency is again being registered regarding the increase in imported drugs and psychotropic substances, a low efficiency of identifying large distributors and, above all, organisers of the illicit trafficking in drugs. Last year, the number of people who died from overdoses rose significantly.”
The Head of State drew attention to the fact that the number of minors involved in criminal activities is growing. In addition, organisation of teaching-and-educational processes, activities of children outside the school are among the topical issues at present.
