Lukashenko signed the law on national budget for 2022

The President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, has signed the Law On the National Budget for 2022, BelTA was informed in the press service of the Belarusian leader

The country’s budget and estimated indicators for the budgets of the regions and Minsk for 2022 were developed on the basis of the provisions of the programme documents on the socio-economic development of Belarus, taking into account the current economic situation. The revenues of the national budget for 2022 are forecasted to stand at Br27.8bn. At the same time, the social orientation of budget expenditures will remain, with a significant part of them being spent on wages, payments of pensions, scholarships, benefits, other payments, as well as on the implementation of state social standards.

The laws On the Budget of the State Extra-budgetary Fund of Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Belarus for 2022 and On Amendments to the Laws on Taxation were also signed.

Changes and additions to the Tax Code are focused primarily on solving practical taxation issues, further simplifying the procedure for calculating and paying taxes and improving tax administration.
