Lukashenko signed decree on crop insurance for 2023

The President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, signed Decree No. 443 On Insurance of Crops, Livestock and Poultry, which approved the list of crops, livestock and poultry and insurance rates for their compulsory insurance with state support for 2023 – as reported in the Belarusian leader’s press service

The decree also approved the percentage of compensation for damage and the cost of replanting for 2023 in the event of the death of crops, the percentage of compensation for damage in case of loss (mortality), emergency slaughter (destruction) of livestock and poultry for 2023.

The document is aimed at providing insurance coverage for agricultural producers.
