Lukashenko shared details of recent talks with Putin in Sochi
During his today’s meeting with the Krasnodar Krai Governor, Veniamin Kondratiev, President Aleksandr Lukashenko shared details of the talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin which took place on September 15th in Sochi
“We agreed on how we will act in Belarus. Of course, we do not publicly voice this. Our last talks were devoted to defence and security," Aleksandr Lukashenko said.
In this regard, the Head of State stressed the importance of joint actions to reduce the likelihood of increasing challenges and threats, “Ukraine is just the beginning, it is the tip of the iceberg. The worst might come if we fail to mobilise ourselves and show them that the payback will follow. We, and Russia as well, are most concerned about Poland; the United States is behind Poland. They have decided to destroy everything here, and primarily the European Union. Poland is the main support point. In 2020, they wanted us to join it, so that we would be a dividing line between Russia, the East and the West. They failed then. Therefore, we are now paying great attention to defence issues.”
