Lukashenko sent condolences over death of Socialist Labour Hero Aleksandr Sloboda
The President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, has sent condolences to the relatives and friends of a Hero of Socialist Labour, Aleksandr Sloboda – as reported by the Belarusian leader’s press service
The message of condolences reads that ‘a man of great personal courage, unbending will – who became an example of selfless service to his country and his people – has passed away’.
"Having passed the tests of the Great Patriotic War with honour, Aleksandr Ivanovich made a significant contribution to the development of the BSSR agro-industrial complex and formation of the young Belarusian state. His strength of spirit, perseverance in achieving goals, integrity and firmness of character deserve sincere gratitude and deep respect of descendants. A bright memory of him will always live in our hearts," the message of condolences adds.
