Lukashenko: Scholz is a newbie who doesn’t understand anything in politics
Speaking to journalists at the Vavilov Minsk Mechanical Plant, the President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, called German Chancellor Olaf Scholz ‘a newbie who does not understand anything in politics and does not want to understand’. This is how the Head of State commented on the statements of the German leader about his conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
“Scholz is a newbie who does not understand anything in politics and does not want to understand. Such conversations between the two heads of state are absolutely closed. You can talk about the conversation and make it public only with the consent of the person on the other end of the wire. He had to negotiate this with Putin.”
At the same time, the Head of State cited the example of French President Emmanuel Macron, who ‘was also promoting himself in front of journalists’ following his conversation with Vladimir Putin.
“They are newbies. It’s not right. It doesn’t work that way.”
