Lukashenko: Russia has everything to ward off any counteroffensive in Ukraine
Russia has everything to ward off any counteroffensive in Ukraine – as noted by the President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, while answering questions during his Address to the Belarusian People and the National Assembly, BelTA reports
“I can already say today that a ‘counteroffensive’ will face no success. It is always more difficult to attack than to defend, and Russia has everything to ward off any counteroffensive. Why should this be demanded from Ukrainians? After all, many innocent people will die as a result!" the Head of State said.
Aleksandr Lukashenko is confident that if Ukrainians do not win back their territories, then the West, including the United States, will be ready for negotiations.
“They are facilitating this war, and they have unleashed it. Actually, the big is seen from a distance. I have just roughly outlined the reasons for this conflict, but I will later tell you more of them – and more significant reasons," the Head of State promised.
