The President noted, “Let them try. We defeated enemies here much stronger than Poland. So, if they want, let them try.”

At the same time, the Belarusian leader stressed that there is a certain wariness from such rumours, “The military presence in Poland and Lithuania was 3,000 people and is now brought to 32,000 or even 40,000. We are monitoring the situation very closely. You remember, long before that, I always said to the military that we must not miss anything, we must not repeat 1941. Therefore, we will respond.”

The President noted that we have always understood what our army is against the huge NATO machine. At the same time, he stated, “Meanwhile, we must not forget that behind us is Russia – a nuclear power. We have a corresponding agreement and lately we have been talking with the President of Russia on this topic very often. Secondly, it is impossible to defeat a nation who are fighting on their own land and for their territory, for their children. It is simply impossible! And then they somehow want to distract us, Russia, and so on from Ukraine. They are complete fools! They are fools who are engaged in PR, but do not know how ordinary Polish, Lithuanian or German soldiers live. No one needs a war – and primarily soldiers don’t need it. If soldiers do not need the war, then it will not happen.”
