Lukashenko reported by Sheiman on building up Belarus’ presence in Africa and AI
Head of State Aleksandr Lukashenko has been reported today by President’s Special Envoy Viktor Sheiman, sb.by reports citing the Belarusian leader’s press service
The discussion focused on building up Belarus’ presence on the African continent, particularly, the establishment of joint ventures, the supply of Belarusian machinery and food products, the construction of roads and railways, the training of specialists to work on Belarusian machinery, its maintenance and repair, and the construction of power plants.
As Mr. Sheiman reported, there are proposals from African partners to set up enterprises for the production and processing of poultry and beef meat, dairy products, and agricultural holdings.
It was stressed during the meeting that Africa is an interesting and promising continent. The Head of State instructed to intensify the work with the aim of establishing JVs and concluding long-term contracts.
Another topic of the conversation was the creation of new enterprises in Belarus, including in the field of AI. This direction was also noted as promising, and Mr. Sheiman reported the relevant proposals to the Head of State.
