The President of Belarus received Andrei Rybakov, the Chairman of the Belneftekhim Concern, with a report
First of all, Aleksandr Lukashenko asked about the activities of oil refineries, “What is the situation now in comparison with what it was last year and in the beginning of this year? What is going on in dynamics? How are we going to reach the indicators? I looked that we have planned 102.5 percent. How do we adapt to all these sanctions and so on?”
In this regard, Aleksandr Lukashenko asked how things are going with the work to complete the modernisation of two domestic refineries, and if there are problematic issues, what are their reasons.
The President was also interested in the work of petrochemical enterprises, “Even if there are not many of them, but they are powerful, large. What happens at these enterprises, how are sales and exports going?”
According to the Head of State, there is a considerable layer of problems in import substitution, “This also applies to your huge concern and the ministry as a whole,” the President added, addressing Andrei Rybakov.
The President also asked how the implementation of the Union State programmes with Russia on the formation of a single oil and gas market is progressing.
Andrei Rybakov reported to the President that it was possible to ensure the smooth operation of absolutely all enterprises in the industry, “We have provided all payments in the required amount to the budget. Timely payment for all energy resources is made. Salaries are paid in full and on time. Moreover, in H1 2022, the real salary in the concern as a whole corresponds to the level of the previous year.”
