Lukashenko, Putin had telephone conversation

The presidents of Belarus and Russia, Aleksandr Lukashenko and Vladimir Putin, have talked by phone today – as informed by the Belarusian leader’s press service

The heads of state congratulated each other on the upcoming holiday: Day of Unity of the Peoples of Belarus and Russia.

Aleksandr Lukashenko and Vladimir Putin discussed the state and prospects of development of bilateral relations, and a separate topic of their talk was devoted to the situation in Ukraine.

The presidents focused on other topical issues of co-operation during their conversation as well.
