Lukashenko proposes Russian governor to jointly develop ‘gold mine’
Belarus offers Russian partners in the Leningrad Region to expand the production of valuable fish species – as stated today by the President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, during his meeting with the Governor of the Leningrad Region, Alexander Drozdenko
“This is a gold mine, which must be developed jointly. We have a good production base in Mogilev. We can multiply the volume of cultivation to meet the needs of the Leningrad Region,” noted the Head of State.
Aleksandr Lukashenko also drew attention to the joint wide front of works in the agro-industrial sector. In particular, Belarus is ready to liaise in the development of livestock breeding.
“If there is even the slightest opportunity for us to buy pedigree cattle from you, to learn from your experience, we will be happy to do this. In turn, we are ready to co-operate on the selection of agricultural crops,” added the President.
