Aleksandr Lukashenko said that after November 7th he intends to return to the topic of pricing, “So you must be ready to report what has been done, what is the situation on the market, etc. I’d like to especially emphasise that those who currently put forward demands to the state that are unclear, illegal, and do not want to work according to the rules that we have established, should be held accountable for this. You have an outlet, so go and work. You are free to leave, but with certain consequences, I warned you about this too. You may leave, we’re not holding anyone, but the consequences will be very serious.”

According to the Head of State, the Chairman of the State Control Committee will later report how many apartments are owned by these people.

“For example, how many apartments were bought in Minsk and in some district centre. We’ll look at the whole property if they don’t work according to the rules. We do not want them to operate at a loss. This cannot be allowed. We don’t need to set prices. Let them set the prices themselves but in line with the rules determined by the state. It is fundamentally.”
