Lukashenko presented a tractor to President of Zimbabwe, and received a lion as a return gift
The President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, has presented Zimbabwe's President Emmerson Mnangagwa with a tractor, and the latter has given a stuffed lion to the Belarusian leader in turn, BelTA reports
The heads of state have taken part in the ceremony of handing over Belarusian equipment to Zimbabwean farmers. They were briefly informed on the work dealing with the supply and maintenance of Belarusian equipment in Zimbabwe.
The presidents were greeted by Zimbabwean girls in Belarusian national costumes with a loaf in their hands. It was baked from the local grain harvested with the help of Belarusian machinery.
Aleksandr Lukashenko presented the Zimbabwean leader with a tractor for his personal farm. In turn, Emmerson Mnangagwa gave a stuffed lion – the king of beasts and one of the strongest animals in Africa – to the President of Belarus as a gift.
