The journalists visited the Presidential farmstead, where many rabbits and domestic fowl – including ostriches that are exotic for Belarus – live. Eggs of the latter weigh up to a kilo, or even more.

The guests rode a horse and even milked a cow. They enjoyed a tour along the farmstead, and were told how animals are kept, and how the Head of State participates in this: i.e. he mows grass for hay.

In general, Aleksandr Lukashenko often visits the farmstead, the animals are used to him, recognise him and are glad when he comes. "Whenever Aleksandr Grigorievich comes, our cows simply bloom. It seems they feel that he has come. He brings grass, or something else to them, and they hear from afar that the President is coming. It is a miracle," a farmstead worker said.

The journalists asked which cow gives the most milk. "At the moment, it is Kashtanka. It now gives 35 litres of milk [per day]. Just six days have passed after calving, and there will be more milk later. I think it can give 40 litres, or maybe more," the worker commented.

At the end of their tour, the TV presenters met with Aleksandr Lukashenko, who presented the ladies with rabbits. "So that these rabbits can live with you for a long time. If the rabbit lives well this year, then it will be good for you as well,” the Head of State wished.

As reported, many rabbits live at the Presidential farmstead. Among them are decorative breeds, such as Californian, Burgundy, German angora, and French sheep. They are all tame, soft and kind in nature. "They definitely have a heavenly life here. Fodder is the key. Here is fresh hay, the President mows it himself," the farmstead workers explained. The rabbit – that was presented to Aleksandr Lukashenko during his visit to the agro-town of Tikhinichi – also lives here.

There are also cats in the farmstead. Some time ago, Aleksandr Lukashenko said during one of his working trips that three kittens had come to the farmstead. “Three kittens came to me. I gave them milk, and they now live with me. There is not a single mouse as a result,” the President said then."Murka brought us four [kittens]. We presented the boy-kitten as a gift, and we now have Nikolaevna and Borisovna with us. This is Iriska, it is the most beautiful,” the farmstead workers explained. “It is all time turning around when the President comes.”
