Lukashenko played major role in Russia-Ukraine negotiation agreements
This statement has been made by the Chairman of the International Affairs Committee of the State Duma and a member of the Russian delegation at negotiations with Ukraine, Leonid Slutsky, TASS reports
Mr. Slutsky said that, pleasingly, Moscow had been heard in Kiev. According to him, there is no doubt that the meeting with the Ukrainian side will take place.
The Russian Federation has no right to conduct negotiations unprofessionally, it is ready for a detailed conversation, he noted.
Mr. Slutsky stressed that Russia will be ready for negotiations in a few hours. According to him, Aleksandr Lukashenko played a great role in the agreement on negotiations.
The Russian Federation and Ukraine may reach a constructive result by the end of the day but, according to Mr. Slutsky, negotiations may continue longer.
