The Head of State emphasised, “We are proud of our veterans and all those who gave us the opportunity to live and work on our land. They showed the example of unprecedented valour, perseverance and patriotism to the world. We must at all costs preserve and pass on to future generations the faith in the victorious spirit of our ancestors, our own strength and the fact that we will cope with any challenges together. We must in no case lose this victory. It is the dignity of our people, a sign of their greatness. Such facts are not lost in history. Peace, freedom and independence are our heritage and the greatest values that must be cherished and protected. We should strengthen the national unity, economy and defence of our Fatherland – doing this every day and every hour. This is the duty of our contemporaries to the past and the future, so that our beloved Belarus may live and flourish! If we all share this feeling, we will preserve our country — quiet, calm, with a peaceful blue sky above our heads.”

The Head of State wished everyone health, happiness and well-being.
