Lukashenko: our principle is to develop what we can do
Co-operation between Belarus and Kuban can go across all directions, and the Belarusian side will definitely fulfil all the agreements that will be reached – as stated today by the President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, at a meeting with Krasnodar Krai Governor Veniamin Kondratiev

The Belarusian leader, in particular, noted the prospects for interaction in agriculture, machine building, and the production of elevators. At the same time, Aleksandr Lukashenko underlined, “Our policy is not to rush into something great, something new. Because it’s a lot of money is needed for this and ‘catching up and overtaking’ is not our principle. We need to develop what we can do.”
As an example, the President cited the tractor building school, combine harvester building, and the production of BELAZ vehicles, which successfully compete with KAMAZ and Caterpillar vehicles.
“Therefore, we’re trying to develop the points where we have experience and practice, where we have competencies and people. As you can see, this turned out to be in demand. If Kuban needs something and you see it here, we’ll come to an agreement and we’ll definitely do it,” Aleksandr Lukashenko assured.
