Lukashenko ordered to send emergency rescue team to Turkiye and look into sending humanitarian aid to Syria

In connection with the devastating earthquakes in Syria and Turkiye, President Aleksandr Lukashenko was reported by Emergencies Minister Vadim Sinyavsky on the readiness of Belarus’ Emergencies Ministry to provide assistance to the affected states, BelTA reports with reference to the Belarusian leader’s press service

Following the report, Aleksandr Lukashenko instructed to send an emergency rescue team of 64 specialists of the Emergencies Ministry – certified according to UN international standards – and equipment intended for search and rescue operations to Turkiye.

An instruction was also given to work out the issue of sending humanitarian aid to Syria.
